Welcome to OrderUp NG. By downloading, accessing, or using our mobile application or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using OrderUp NG, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines posted within the app.
If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.


2. About OrderUp NG

OrderUp NG is a food-ordering and delivery platform that connects users with restaurants, vendors, and delivery partners.
OrderUp NG is not the producer of the food but a technology platform that facilitates ordering and delivery.


3. Eligibility

To use OrderUp NG, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or

  • Have parental/guardian consent if younger.

You must also provide accurate registration information.


4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login details secure

  • All activity performed through your account

  • Providing accurate and updated contact, delivery, and payment information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies.


5. Orders & Payments

  • Once an order is placed and confirmed, it is sent directly to the restaurant/vendor.

  • Prices, availability, and preparation times are determined by the vendor.

  • Payments must be made using the methods provided on the platform.

  • OrderUp NG is not responsible for price errors or vendor-initiated changes.


6. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location, traffic, vendor preparation, or logistics issues.
We aim to provide reliable delivery through our verified riders, but delays may occur.

If we cannot complete a delivery for reasons beyond our control, we will communicate through the app or customer support.


7. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
Generally:

  • Orders already prepared by vendors cannot be cancelled.

  • Refunds may apply only in cases of wrong items, non-delivery, or verified vendor errors.

  • Refund reviews take up to 24–72 hours.


8. User Conduct

Users agree NOT to:

  • Abuse riders, vendors, or support agents

  • Place fake or fraudulent orders

  • Attempt to hack, alter, or misuse the application

  • Use the platform for illegal activities

Violation may lead to account suspension without notice.


9. Vendor Responsibilities

Restaurant partners are responsible for:

  • Food preparation

  • Quality, hygiene, and accuracy of orders

  • Pricing and availability of items

OrderUp NG is not liable for food quality or vendor-caused issues.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on OrderUp NG—logo, design, text, graphics, features, and software—is owned by OrderUp NG and protected by copyright laws.
Users may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the platform without permission.


11. Limitation of Liability

OrderUp NG is not liable for:

  • Delays, cancellations, or delivery issues caused by vendors, riders, or external circumstances

  • Food-related allergies, reactions, or health issues

  • Losses resulting from user error or misuse of the app

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.


12. Third-Party Services

OrderUp NG may integrate with third-party payment processors, map providers, or communication tools.
We are not responsible for their performance, downtime, or policies.


13. App Updates & Modifications

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
Continued use after updates means you accept the changes.


14. Termination

OrderUp NG may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these terms

  • Provide false information

  • Misuse the platform

You may also delete your account at any time.


15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
